Just purchased a used C5 last week. As a previous drag racer, motorcycle racer , I have owned lots of cars and bikes that included 2 mustangs and a Suzuki Hayabusa, but I can happily say this is the most excited I have ever been about a toy purchase for my wife and myself. We are so excited for weekend drives, our boys taking it to prom in a few years and handing it down someday when we upgrade to a newer one! Hard leaving it in the garage all week but that's what we agreed upon so we would look forward to driving it on date nights and weekend getaways. Lots of good info on this forum. Already purchased a c6 shifter to install, new plugs and wires and a few other small goodies. Corvette for life now.

Your son is dreaming of the day when he'll get handed the keys to the car.

Nice looking C5 you bought.

I told him as long as he keeps making straight A's I will let him drive it to school the first day he gets his license, and every Friday until graduation. how many kids can say their dad told them that.
