I just became the owner/care taker for a 1996 green convertible (black top) with 130k miles. I never thought of myself as a Vette owner, but due to the passing of my Brother-in-Law Gary, and his wife Linda's wish that I have G.P.s pride and joy, I will keep GPsVette forever.
I have always worked on cars, either to keep one running so I could get to work or to assist others for the same reason. Only until recently have I had the good fortune to own newer cars for the work trip and now have the time (and some cash) to "fix up" a few others. That said, I am quickly realizing that these cars are very special and just a fix is not going to cut it. Especially on a car that has 3 control systems that all work together. Gonna be fun!
Anyway, thanks to all for the many posts I've already read through and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute where I can. Best wishes to all Vette owners and BE SAFE OUT THERE.
