Ready to buy in San Diego County
Hello fellow Vette enthusiasts! This site an invaluable resource and I wll be back often.
I'm so excited about purchasing my first Vette. I've done lot's of research, attended a local Vette club meeting and plan to attend the Plastic Fantastic Car Show in San Diego next month. I'll be joining the club as soon as I find my car.
I was originally interested in a classic with chrome but I'm going to be more practical and go with a car that has modern conveniences. I'm leaning towards a 2014 convertible since I'd rather let someone else take the big hit in the first 2 -3 years. The problem is finding what I want which isn't easy! I did find two out of state cars but I need to worry about California emissions.
Thanks! Valerie

Welcome to the forum!
Good luck in your search!
A lot are available, just may have to widen your area range and look for one basically stock to meet CA emissions

California Emissions
According to Chevy customer service only cars with the California Emissions option will pass in California! I learned this after finding the perfect car in AZ.
How is that some people bring new cars to CA that were delivered elsewhere and pass emissions? I don't want to pay for new and take the big hit. I was hoping for a 2016 but convertibles without black interior seem to be extremely rare.
