Finally did it
Bought a new 2016 Z51 2lt from a local dealer in Tucson, Arizona. Finally able to live out my high school fantasies. It is an automatic which I swore (when younger) that I never get one but now at 67 it seems the right move considering I will be sharing driving duties with my wife. Did buy the extended warranty Not sure if I was thinking clearly by that stage in the negotiations, but it is some relief knowing that there's a plan B in place should something expensive happens.
I only regret I wasn't able to afford one earlier in my life because this Silver bullet is one awesome car. My chief concern now is holding on to my drivers licence long enough to enjoy the car. I have owned many motorcycles over the last 40 years and this car could out run any of the over 100. thumbs:
Anyway, hope to learn lots of things on the forum and possible meet some as well.
