After years of admiring Corvettes on the road, I finally pulled the trigger this week and bought my first GM product. I traded my 2015 Mustang 5.0 for a Sterling Blue Stingray 3LT with the Twilight Blue Design Package. I was lurking on this forum for a while, expecting to buy when the prices dropped at the model change in the fall. When the 10% off promotion was announced this week, I went into my local dealership and looked at 75 different C7 models. The one I chose is one of 12 in the country, according to the production numbers recently released. I'm very excited to join this group to learn the tricks of the trade.
By way of introduction, I'm a retired mechanical engineer with grown kids and a Kawasaki C14 Touring Cycle parked in my garage. Hopefully the C7 will fulfill my need for speed during the hot summers here in Central Florida when it's too hot to go biking in helmet, gloves, and other safety gear.
