New member, third 'Vette
Hello to all!
I recently retired in central Florida, and just bought a white '75 ragtop as a retirement project to keep me busy. I have also owned a '74 conv. and a '76 coupe, both bought new, back in the day. This latest C3 looks to be solid and straight, but I'll know more once I get it up on a lift next week.
It runs well, but has a tired leather interior, worn out carpet, non-working clock, non-working A/C, a vacuum leak in the headlight system, and a cracked dash pad--projects that seem all too common on these cars, and which I will soon be starting to address. I have ordered a factory service manual to help me with these issues, but am sure your helpful tips will prove a Godsend!
I look forward to talking with many of you on these, and many other projects, as time passes. Thanks in advance for your help, and drive safe.
Also, I would love to hear from other C3 owners who live in central Florida; maybe we could get together.
