Hello fellow Vette lovers.
Greetings.
My real name is Matt, but most people call me Tiptoe or Tip (Long story!)
About me:
Born and raised in Wisconsin, and I love it here. I'm an ASE certified mechanic for a living, and I race cars for fun! I started off doing circle track racing and ice racing but I soon switched up to sports car racing. I have done races all over the country with the SCCA, WAI, Chumpcar, 24 hours of Lemons, and most recently the world racing league (WRL).
How did I get here:
Sadly my most recent race car (3rd Gen Camaro) was destroyed earlier this year. But I'm not one to be defeated when life is crappy, I set out to find a new car to build into a racer and I found the perfect car...I think...
About my car.
Its an 84 Corvette, Crossfire V8 and 4 on the floor. VERY rough on the inside and lots of issues, but the chassis, body, and driveline all seem to be in good shape, the perfect canvass for me to have fun with.
The Goal is to build a kickass car for the GP2 class in the WRL. Road America is my home track so a V8 was a must for me and my team.
Hopefully some of you guys and gals can help me do just that.

One of my buddies was racing the car at the time. I take some solace knowing the car gave its life to save his. The crash was nasty!! Futhermore, my cage held, the other guys cage did not. THANKFULLY he was hit on the passenger side.
