Hey guys, thanks to everyone who responded to my last post. On to the next problem, gauges. Still going through my initial punch list working out all the issues I have found since picking up this car. I haven't had much time to work on it yet but I have started looking. The problem is the temp gauge is always maxed out hot. Key on, off, doesn't matter, always high, 240+. I disconnected the green wire from the temp sensor,
still high. I grounded the green wire, still high. For fun I checked the sensor in the manifold and it appears to be working correctly. High resistance when the engine is hot, lower as the engine cools. I measured the green wire to ground with the key on and with the key off,
reads about 85 ohms. I haven't gotten past here. I need to check if there is any common wiring with the gauges because the fuel gauge doesn't work either (always stuck just about 1/2 tank). The brake AL and gas gauge 10A fuse is blown, new one in blows instantly. Could the temp gauge have an issue. What should the resistance be? Thanks
