New member - where do I start?
Just bought a 1969 car. Daytona yellow with black interior. 350/350 hp, 4 spd. 39000 miles. The car has been sitting for last 15 years. I'd like to get it in running condition, drive it some, and then assess whether to restore or just use as a weekend driver. It's been stored inside but really dirty. There's a crack in the right front fender, but otherwise the body looks to be in good shape. I'm not sure about engine or brakes. I don't want to start it right away because of the time it has been stored. So, where should I start? I'm thinking buy some books, read as much as I can on this forum, get some parts catalogs, etc.
