Finally bought a C5
Good Morning!
So I have been looking at C5's for years. Last month, I finally bought one. I ended up getting a 2000 Red FRC. Just turned over 60k, and is a pleasure to drive.
The car has been slightly modified which worried me as the owner did not know who did the work. He did have the specs on the parts that were installed though. I drove the car, it ran great, and the price was less than I expected to pay so I went for it.
Shortly after I purchased, I started to google the cam specs (older Speed Inc Cam). Sure enough, I found a thread on here by "Jeff's FRC" discussing all the work that Speed Inc did to his car. Lurked around on his profile and found his forsale add of the vehicle discussing a small mark in the front bumper that sure enough is still there and exactly as described. His listed modifications are exactly what is still on the car. So I lucked out by finding that Speed Inc did the work, and I can sleep a little better at night! Anyway, below are the pictures of the car. I love the car and the way it handles.

Looks strange seeing a classic plate on a C5Z...lol. That eliminates emissions, but doesn't it also restrict a good bit of use in Pa?
Well...in answering my own question:
§ 67.2. Definitions.
Classic motor vehicle—A self-propelled vehicle, but not a reproduction thereof, manufactured more than 10 years prior to the current year and because of discontinued production and limited availability, determined by the Department to be a model or make of significant value to collectors or exhibitors, and which has been maintained in or restored to a condition which is substantially in conformance with manufacturer specifications and appearance.
§ 67.6. Use of antique and classic registration plates.
No person may operate a vehicle with antique or classic registration plates for commercial purposes or for general daily transportation. Permitted use is limited to participation in club activities, exhibits, tours, parades and similar uses, and for occasional transportation. Occasional transportation means no more than 1 day a week.
