Hello
First of all, Happy Fathers Day to all.
I would like to thank all of you for the information that is being shared on this site. You all have saved a lot of knuckle busting and head scratching.
But now I have a specific area of question:
1992 LT1
6 speed
60+k miles
Through many hours of diagnosis on this site, I came to the conclusion that the opti was shot...it was. Replaced and vented, or vented and replaced, sometimes both. New water pump, plugs, wires and fuel filter. Still does not run smooth as it had in the past.
Started pulling EFI harness one at a time, with engine running, after checking that all were functional(listened and touch test).
I got to #6 and the engine didn't dip in RPM, seemed to run better without it being hooked up. 13 volts at the #6 harness.
Can the ICM make one of the eight not work, or is the #6 injector shot?
Thanks, Jeff

I found a 1992, 6 speed, black and tinted about three years ago. It was a garage queen. Previous owners had it for eight years and put 1200 miles on it. Needles to say, it gets driven quite a bit more than that and I am sure a little bit more enthusiastically(love spell check). Hope to see y'all around.
