New from CT
Hey Guys,
Little info on me:
24y/o - Married to my beautiful wife, great home, two rambunctious dogs, and NO KIDS!
Been in the import world since I was young enough to drive. Had a 1999 Acura Integra Gs-R with a Jackson Racing supercharger + every mod possible ~ 260whp.
Decided that wasn't enough once I started doing autocross so I jumped up to a 2014 WRX with bolt ons ~ 340whp
Now looking to take the next step (hopefully for a while) into a 2008+ corvette coupe. Really looking at blue or grey with an M6 and black interior.
I enjoy autocross, but would like to participate in some intro level HDPE events, and feel that the base coupe is a great platform to start on. I researched the c5 Z06, and while it is a great bargain for the price, I feel that an 08+ c6 is a better all-around value.
I've been lurking for over a year reading all the information I can, and decided to join now as I get serious in my hunt for the perfect LS3 C6!

Welcome! What part of CT? New England Newbie here too. Good luck on the search! I am on the hunt for a nice C5 myself! Check FL, it's worth the hassle imo to buy down there and bring it up here. Prices seem way better.

Welcome! Where in CT are you? I'm in Sherman. A guy in my club had an '08 for sale, not sure if he sold it or not? It had a CAI, Hooks long tube headers & some other things. I haven't heard if he sold it or not. I believe he lives near Waterbury?

Down south definitely seems like the best bet right now. I've got my eye on a few right now, just waiting on some funds to free up so I can pull the trigger!

Update: still looking. Put out inquiries to many dealerships. Looking more towards the Grand Sport side of things right now.
Looking to spend 28-31k tops. Still want silver, grey, or blue M6.
If you see any listings post them here! I'm not seeing many, maybe because everyone is out enjoying them instead of selling them right now!

Thanks! There's quite the mix here I've seen. A broad spectrum of garage queens to track stars and everything in-between!
The only thing I would recommend for this forum is that in the regional sections, you divide the classifieds from the regular posts as is done in other forums for ease of navigation.
