My name is Bill. I have a 1974 Corvette. 350 engine, Turbo 400 Trans, T-tops. I bought in 2003. Odometer shows 67,000 miles. Not sure if that is original. Some things, like ball joints, seem to be original and the suspension is tight. Rivets are still there. I have started the process of restoring the car but I am not planning on show car restoration, I just want a decent daily driver. I have stripped the car down, all hardware and chrome. I have removed all the paint. So far all I have done is slick sand the entire body. The frame looks pretty good except the rear cross member in front of the rear wheels. the side channels are ok but the under side of the cross member is corroded. Sides and top still seem ok. Not sure how to deal with that yet. The engine has obviously been rebuilt. The serial numbers are gone. It looks like the block was milled. The other numbers I have found on the block are correct for the period. I will be asking for help in the forums. I am NOT a mechanic.

Bill - welcome to the forum and I'd recommend spending some time in the various C3 sections. Plenty of useful information and helpful members over there.
Thanks for the welcome. Hopefully I can contribute by posting the progress and solutions as I proceed. I stripped the car down 5 years ago and had to stop working on it. I'm finally in a position to resume working on the car. Right now it's the brakes. They are a mess, LOL. OEM Parts are ordered.
