Long time lurker, new member. 2 wonderful project vettes, the kind of barn finds you dream about. 69 is a for me project and the 63 belongs to a great friend that I am freshening it up for. First time vette owner but long time shade tree mechanic/ fabricator. Starting the tear down of the 63 as we speak. Ran when parked last in 1987. Original paint is in fair condition and interior very nice. Light rebuild on engine and seals gaskets and rubber parts throughout rest of car is the plan. She wants a Sunday driver. The 69 is a much more entailed project and I'll elaborate in a couple of months when this one is done. Right now I'm in the part code stage to verify all components, lots of great info on this site and others that I have found.
