Good afternoon everyone. I've been lurking on various corvette forums for a few years now but never actually joined any because I never really felt the need to I guess. I actually haven't had a single issue arise mechanically on either myself or my father over the last 10 or so years so I guess that's a plus. Car is a black 84 crossfire four speed and up until a couple months ago was bone stock. The previous owner was a so called corvette guru in my area and he pretty much rebuilt the whole injection system. The car ran perfect and always drove nice. Except that it was crossfire slow but that's another story. Only things I have done are the heater core water pump radiator and the window regulator ribbon. Did a cat back set up a few years ago as the factory cats core spun sideways in the casing and the car ran... meh. I also repaired the instrument cluster as it would drop out when you hit a bump (like most of the early digi dashes) Overall it's been a fun ride and I hope to have a little more fun after I sort out the last couple of nagging problems. And I'm hoping to meet some great people here along the way. I'm not new to forums I'm on a pretty well known gmt360 forum as I have a 360 as my primary vehicle. The vette is still my father's but I am allowed to use it. Now that you all know my life story i just want to say thanks for anyhelp either that I read in the past or will recieve in the (near) future.
Thanks for the welcome guys. Figured I'd upload a picture or two since I am home and not on my phone. It is just easier on the pc is all. One is a car show from July and the other is February or March after I finished polishing the rims. Just so you have an idea what I'm dealing with.
