Quick hello and something else
Hey all. My name is Dan and I'm a Michigan boy. I have been around hotrods and Chevys in particular since, well, as long as I can remember. I have a very interesting carburetor that according to all of the literature I can find, belongs on a 1970 Corvette LS7. I have heard all of the theories about this LS7 motor.. Regardless, 30 or so years ago I bought a 1970 Z-28 that had been wrenched and on it was this carburetor.
It is:
LIST-4559 3967481 4150 Holley
I do not need this carb and it is not a correct part for my Z-28. I have bought a proper carb for the car and to pay for some parts, decided to put this one up for sale. Someone trying to get a numbers correct car would need it assuming they had an engine that had been tampered with and at that time few were not. I thought this may be a good place to let it be known that there is one available.
If anyone knows of someone that needs it please drop me a line.
PS. I have a photo of my Mom driving a 1953 Vette that my Grandpa owned. He bought it new and had several Vettes throughout the course of his life. Wish he had kept that one. Heh.
