Greetings all!
I'm Jeff, I live in SWFL, currently in NE Ohio handling some estate issues and taking possession of my new(to me) 69 Stingray roadster. She's an absolute beauty, LeMans blue, blue interior(not very fond of that), black soft top, color matched hard top, 34k miles, 1 owner before me(my uncle), and an absolute near perfect collection of service and other documents for her.
PICTURES COMING SOON!!!
She hasn't been started in close to 20 years, so I imagine that the engine may need to be pulled and gone through along with many other things. The body is in absolutely perfect condition as is the interior. I'll definitely be a regular around here looking for advice, and other technical information about the car. as of now the plans are to find a good shop to send her off to and get her sorted out and on her way to being kept in her original condition. She has a long road ahead of her but I will cut no corners when it comes to making sure she's kept in the same perfect condition my uncle did before his health prevented him from doing so.
So my first question is this: how do I decode the VIN number? I know we have the original build ticket here somewhere, It's just buried in a metric $h*t ton of random documents.
From: In a parallel universe. Currently own 2014 Stingray Coupe.

Hey Jeff - welcome and sounds like one very nice C3 you now have. As mentioned earlier, post up your questions in the C3 section - lots of info can be obtained about your generation of Corvette there.
