Yup, another old guy that finally has the spare cash to buy a Vette.
I've always been a motorcycle guy....currently riding a Goldwing and a KLR650...but I happened across a very nice 2nd owner, always garaged, only caught in the rain once, 23,000 mile, '93. The price was right (after a visit to the local Corvette shop for a once over, and a month of negotiations) and now it's mine.
I'm about half way thru fluid changes, replaced rear spring bushings, andhad to toss on new rear Bilsteins (FX3) and spend a few hours sorting SRC codes. It all works now.
Been lurking around here for a couple of months trying to learn something about these cars, and am looking forward to learning even more from you all. Thanks for reading.....
Thanks for the welcome, guys.
I'm hoping once I get all of the little items taken care of that this winds up being a fairly dependable ride. With the 6 speed grinder, it is a blast to drive. Downside is...when the wife rides along, it makes her louder. The wife not the car. Strange!
