We live in the Florida Keys and are interested in the C2 Corvettes in particular the 67's
I had one years ago (34 years). We had to sell it to fund building a duplex on a canal in the Keys.
When we sold it I told myself that when I sold the building I would buy another 67. Well 34 years have passed, and the building increased in value faster than the Vette would have. We used the duplex as a vacation rental in Islamorada for the 34 years.
We finally sold the duplex and we bought another Corvette just like the one we sold.
Our new Corvette is a Marina blue 327/350 roadster. The only difference between the two is that the new one has power steering and brakes and it's a NCRS top flight.
I don't like the way it handles with the bias tires, so we'll keep them on the shelf for future judging.
I would like to meet other members that live in the Keys.
They used to have an annual Corvette show in Islamorada at the Holiday Isle resort. It was sold a few years ago and the new owners changed everything and the resort went down. Now after Irma they are rebuilding. Hopefully they'll try to bring the show back.
Thanks for the great forum.
