Just bought a 65 convertible, 327/300hp, 4 sp, Vette was restored approximately 20 years ago. My research indicates car spent most of its life in Kansas and Missouri. Nice frame and birdcage. Had two different owners since 2004. Sorting out some mechanical and electrical issues prior to driving it on public roads. Interior is driver quality. Paint and body is less than driver quality. Paint has some delaminations, shrinkage and cracking. My focus will be to make it safe and reliable for cruising to the local shows.
Been lurking on this forum for a couple of months during my troubleshooting. Great bunch of guys writing threads and passing information! Thanks for that info, it has helped me in "sorting out" this supposed mechanically perfect driver quality Vette.
