Hi everyone,

Been away for quite a while working on other Mopar projects. I own a 64 vert which I restored a few years back entirely by myself, right down to the amateur paint job. I recently ironed out nearly all of the drivability problems that have plagued the car and started driving it regularly. I had forgotten how enjoyable the car was. It really drives like a new car from that era. I intend to rack up as many miles as I possibly can on the car now.

I'll try to get some pics up here...just need to figure out the posting process again.

I intend to start posting lots of questions about the little things I still want to do. I have found that forums are the best way to seek out friendly expert advice. I want to get the original A/C working again as well as get my soft top to fit correctly but little by little, it will come together.

Thank you! Its been finished for over two years but I have put on only about 500 miles since then. Partly because it ran annoyingly hot intermittently and once that was cured, it still wasn't running as smoothly as I wanted it. Now, it is a real joy. It never goes above 185 no matter how hot the weather is or how long it idles. Ever since I finally set my distributor set up properly, it starts super easy, idles beautiful, nice and responsive in all conditions, powerful and reasonable fuel efficient. I've put over 200 miles on it in just the past few days.

Ok, think I figured out the photo posting thing. Took it out for a super long drive today and it drove fantastic! After playing around with the carb and ignition system, I'm now getting 16 mpg. Didn't think that was possible.
