Hi everyone, and happy new year!
Just bought this 2006 Z51 Coupe from a friend of a friend over the weekend.
First time ever in a Corvette was roughly a month ago when I first test drove this car. Never in my life had I considered one. My first experience with cars was when I learned to drive my dad's '96 Toyota Tercel with the four speed manual w/manual everything, no a/c. That car was so much fun in my teenage years. Anyway, this year I needed to buy a car and I basically bought the Corvette because it was such a good deal to me, otherwise it likely would have been a CPO Lexus or some other Japanese lux/sports car to continue with what I was familiar with. However, this Corvette was basically barely used, but well maintained. No scratches, dents anywhere. Interior was super clean and still smelled like new. The plastic cover is still on the passenger-side shade mirror. And the best part: less than 5,200 miles on the odometer. I really like the LeMan Blue Color and the grey interior. Car is 100% stock, but I did install the AUX/Bluetooth mod shown on Kawal's website (thanks dude!). Also, it's a 6sp manual
I started the year off right by putting about 250 miles by carving up Topanga Canyon and Mullholland Drive in SoCal.
I look forward to the miles and years to come, and to learn a lot from you experienced guys in the forums.

Edit: The info I found on the C6 models by searching and perusing the forums really influenced my decision, so thanks a lot to all of you out there who share the knowledge. Also, sorry about the sideways odometer picture!
