New member from across the pond
Hi all,
I’m new to the scene, have been into bikes for all my life but a life changing accident means I’m reviving an old dream.......I remember the first time I ever saw a C3 corvette and couldn’t speak, that was about 26 years ago. When I peeled my tongue off his car window I said to my boss “one day I’ll have one”. He said “I know you will, you work hard”. I’ve been busy with life, running my own business, marriage, child, falling off motorbikes since then, but now I’m ready. Have been looking for the right car for a few months, ideally a ‘73, manual, L82. Can’t find the right one yet but it’s been fun looking and learning. Not many about in the UK, so importing is likely. Looking forward to the rest of the journey.

Welcome to the best Corvette forum in the world!
I'm in Cambridge, England and bought my Corvette at the end of October last year, I had been looking for a '69 - 72 C3 for a few months and just when I was about to go the import route this one came up in the UK.
Good luck with your search.

doesn't have to be a '73, but I like the front and rear combo and the prices tend to drop for that year too. If something else comes up of an earlier year that's priced right then I'd be all over it. I'm way up north in Newcastle upon Tyne, I pass through Cambridge a lot, my wife's family are from that region, lovely place.
cheers
