Hi everyone,
I'm joining here to learn more about C6 Corvettes to help in my finding the right car to buy. I have had a sports car since all my life, some fast some slow, but this would be my first Corvette. I've had a couple 944turbo's and my current car is a S2000. My son is buying the S2000 this spring and I'm starting my shopping, I have been considering a Cayman S too, but for various reasons I've pretty much decided on a Corvette, and looking at a C6. Unsure if a standard or Z06, I am intrigued by the Z06. I'm sure there are appropriate forums here for my detailed questions so I'll find and ask them there.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. I've perused the C6 and Z06 sections and have gotten a lot of suggestions of what to look for. Lots of cars for sale out there per Autotrader. Was thinking of taking my time, check out lots of cars (if they're local). Seeing how many are out there and how long some of them up here in the Midwest have been for sale and not selling during the winter, thinking now maybe I pick something up before spring and have a bit more negotiation
