Born in Ontario Canada Ron Musselwhite's career in music began at he early age of twelve. His talent on the drums and as a vocalist lead him to his first job in a band he formed called "The Emeralds". This talented group were in great demand to back up many recording artists from Detroit, during the 60's. Over many years he had picked up the trumpet and fiddle as well, Also recording on Quality records, RCA records, Barry records, as well as many more independent recording labels.
Ron Musselwhite has travelled throughout western Europe, England, The Mediterranean and North Africa. He has continued to work the North American club circuit in various show bands, playing drums, trumpet, fiddle and guitar. Ron had gathered quite a following in the bands, "Music Machine", "The Quorum" , "The Manhattan" ,Canadian Zephyr, and "White-Wail" .In 1984 he moved to Amarillo and released a country album called "LIFE ON THE COUNTRYSIDE" which was recorded in NashvilleTennessee. After moving to Dickson County Tennessee in 1989 he has played off and on with local musicians. In 2008 Ron built a recording studio at his home in Dickson.
Two albums have been produced at Emerald studio, Alchemy III band album "HEADRUSH"and the Quorum album "SHEPHERDS and WISEMEN. Currently he is looking for
a new project to start.
