I have lurked on this forum for awhile and decided to join so I can pipe in with my two cents every once and awhile. Not to mention the discussions are a good source of info and I have used some to tinker with my car. I'm on my second Corvette. My first was a '66 that I bought quite some time ago. 327/300, 4 sp, factory side pipes, Mosport Green original car. Ended up selling it when I got married because I knew I wouldn't be able to do the upkeep. Fast forward a couple decades and I finally got into the position to get another Corvette. This time I got a Monterey Red 2007 Z51 6 sp., only had 30k on it (really, 30,002) I've already tracked it a few times (anyone who says a Corvette can't do turns has never driven one through a turn) and drive it regularly, though I only put 6k on it last year (I have a company car, so I don't drive it to work and back).
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your C6 Z51!
Thank you for driving and enjoying your car, too. 6,000 miles your first year - while using a company car, too - is great.
