Default New C6 owner
Just picked up my first Vette it's a 2008 C6 3LT with z06 parts. Previous owner looked like he did everything well and took care of it so I jumped on it. Wish it was a true z06 but I couldn't afford one as a new homeowner as well. Look forward to learning more about the car.

Yours is a nice looking C6. Congratulations. I’m curious, can you use a lighter tint on your windows and be within the legal limits ?

They recently changed the law in NY on tints, I'm not sure if it's still 70% tint on front windows or no tint at all. But I know you will fail inspection if your windows are tinted now. I could always just reinstall them after inspection but it's just another reason to be pulled over for some bs.
