Long time reader, first time poster. This is my 2013 Grand Sport that I bought brand new in April of 2013. This is the first new car and Corvette I have ever had. I got this car because my mother, who suffers from alzheimers/dementia, gave me her CTS caddy when she couldnt drive anymore as a thank you for doing so much for her. Whenever I went to see her she would always ask me where the caddy was and I would always tell her it wasnt really my style. After months of this one day she told me if it wasnt my style I should sell or trade it for something I want... the wheels started spinning. Lord knows I probably lost 5-10 years of my life from mental and emotional strain and I was determined to get those years back. One day a friend and I went to a vette show at the Chevrolet dealership, walked into the back lot to have a smoke and there she was, and as soon as I saw it I knew immediately that I had found what I was looking for. I went back Monday morning, took the test drive and signed on the dotted line. A few days later a friend took me there for delivery. He and his dad have been BIG vette folks for years, he told me "you know you didnt just buy a car dont you..." what do you mean I asked? "what you`ve done is joined a club, a family, and they are giving you a car." I didnt understand that at the time.... but I do now. I just want to say Im so happy and proud to be a part of this family I cant say enuf. I may not have any blood kin anymore but I am part of a huge family that has always supported me and never let me down !! THANK YOU ALL <3 I had this car for a few years and then decided I wanted alittle more GO. I went to a very popular shop in the Atlanta area, and I will just say I left with a BAD taste in my mouth. I searched these forums for another builder/tuner and caught the name of Lamar Walden. I went to his facebook page and the top post was a red GS with a post about the client who took it to another shop and was VERY unhappy with the service and results and brought it to LMA to get some "vengence" on them. I LMAO, called the next day and the rest is history. Current build,

Welcome to the CF. I’m sorry for the struggles your mom suffered thru. Kudos to you for providing the care that you did. I hope you’ve enjoyed your Grand Sport so far. Love to see a few more pics. ( one posted on my end)
