I love Corvettes. My first was when I was 17. It was a 1960. Traded it for a VW Beetle to commute to USF. After I graduated I immediately bought my buddy's 1958. Since then I've had about 12 or so Corvettes. Memorable ones were my first, the 1958 because my wife and I rebuilt it ourselves (I still remember us refitting the windshield with it slathered in WD40, a 1986 that I bought the same day I asked my wife to marry me, still married. Don't know if she was more excited about the ring or the Corvette... A 1972 that I blew up and had a local roundy round racer rebuild the motor for. A 1990 ZR1 and a 2012 ZR1. And a 2015 Z06 that I took delivery of at the museum. What an experience. And now this week a Sebring Orange ZR1. An amazing vehicle. Living the Corvette life has been so much fun. The experiences, friends and a lifetime of memories and stories have been the best. Thanks Chevy.
There still may be more memories ahead beyond the ZR1, if only I can convince my wife to trade her 2017 ZL1 on the next generation Corvette.
