Hi guys,

I recently purchased an 06 Ls2 with most of the bolt ons and I legit registered on here just to say thank you. I have been on this website religiously ever since I bought the car and it is a goldmine. I bought the vehicle without knowing about the service charging issue that plague these cars and one of my friends lost a lot of time and money because he ended up having to replace his ECU. He told me he was having the service charging issue so naturally this scared me. My battery voltage meter would rise and drop constantly and the car would chime each time and throw up the error message.

So I got a new battery, tested the alternator it was good, got under the car to check the connections on the starter they were okay, pulled off the spark plug boots and wouldn’t you know it NGK TR6’s. Without this forum who in the heck would guess that spark plugs could cause that issue? I would have lost a ton of time and money trying to fix it on my own. Switched the plugs for some AC Delcos and no more chiming noise no more error message. So cheers 🍻 and here’s to more great info
