Just bought my first corvette at the advice of my doctor to cure my mid-life crisis (God bless him). My new old vette is an ‘02 C5 blue convertible with no performance upgrades. Bought it from a private seller two days ago (God bless her) and I offer no apologies for my irresponsible and wreckless decision. Truth be told I owe much gratitude to those who authored the tech and general info. articles about the best car I have ever owned. Your info. gave me confidence and assurance that 2002 was a good production year for the Corvette.
Congrats on your new old 2002 Vette! Here’s to the cure. My crisis started about 5 years ago. Two Corvettes later and I’m still battling it. I’m searching for my third now. It seems as though the proverbial mid-life crisis just might be a chronic condition. Best of luck and enjoy!
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your C5!
Don't worry about the mid-life crisis....it will pass....I think....I've been in mine for for decades, though!

Wow, that is..... worrisome. It must be true that misery loves company because after learning of your disorder (there are lots of disorders these days) I'm feeling pretty good about myself right now. You do realize that if/when you get that third one that your next disorder will be called "Which-Corvette-Do-I-Drive-Today".
Congrats and enjoy your C5. Welcome to the forum and see you in the C5 sections.
Vetteman- It looks like you are pretty much "the man" behind this forum, if that is true then thank you 10x for the time and effort you put into this. Obviously it is a labor of love to you. But where would this forum be without ALL of its members? Yes, I am home!
