Hello all. I am new to the world of owning a corvette. Bought a 2011 Grand Sport convertible 2 months ago as a late 50th birthday present. Having been married and having kids, the idea of buying such a car was unobtainable til now. I have always been a speed junkie and this car definitely gives me my fix.
I have read several posts in this forum since buying my corvette and find it useful, informarive, and entertaining. Looking forwars to many good times in the car and look forward to learning tee ricks to enjoy it more.

Congrats on buying your C6 GS - been seriously considering one of those myself. Welcome to the forum and I'd encourage you to visit the C6 sections of the forum.
I had a lady once tell me as I drove up in my 2010 GS that It was a mid-life-crisis car. I scoffed and said "Lady, I'm 65. My mid life crisis was 15 years ago". It just took me a long time to be able to afford it since I have alwys wanted a vette.
Welcome to the forum!
Whether midlife crisis or midlife celebration as MNcorvetteC6 called it, congratulations on your GS! Great way to celebrate whatever it is!
