Howdy from Michigan!
Hello everyone! I’m excited to be a part of the corvette forum! I’ve been a ghost member for a year now, just lurking on the forums, but I finally made an account today.
Im 24 years old, and I live in southeast Michigan in the metro Detroit area.
Im currently looking to purchase my first C7 Corvette Z06. If you see a good deal, help me out!

Welcome and best of luck in finding a C7 Z06. If you want new, check out the forum dealers. If used will work, be sure to look in the C7 Corvettes for Sale section.

Torn
I’m kinda torn between the Z51 and Z06. I want the Z06 for the power, looks, and the overall status of the car, but the Z51 is awesome as well.
I want to go used. I’m looking to spend 40-45k on a Z51 and 65k or less on a Z06, but that’s a 20k jump in price and insurance will be more.
I’m stuck trying to see if it’s worth it. Help!

There is a lot of discussion on that exact topic in the C7 General area.
The Grand Sport gets you the wide body looks with the same power as the Z51, so that may also make your choice more difficult.
Tire trade offs for the wide bodied versions are tire availability and associated costs when compared to the narrow bodied versions.
