Like the name says, never too late. Just bought my first Corvette at 61 years (old/young - take your pick) Before this, my stress relief ride was a BMW 335i convertible with a 6 speed manual and a Dinan tune. There were a few bolt ons as well. I also played around with a 2008 R32, and going way back, a '98 SVT Cobra convertible. I did a lot of shopping before I pulled the trigger on my 2010 Grand Sport 3LT. I flew from San Francisco to eastern PA to pick it up, then had a "getting to know you" drive home. The car was amazing. It only has 11000 miles on it, and is a one-owner. Already, I am seeing what a close-knit group Corvette owners are. Lots of help and good advice from some locals, as well as Able Chevrolet in Rio Vista, CA. I'll try not to ask too many stupid questions, but you can bet I will ask some. Hey, at least by buying a GS, I won't be asking about the exhaust valves in a Z06! Here's a few photos of my as yet unnamed Corvette. Pardon the road dirt in some of the photos. I got caught in the rain a few times.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your sharp GS!
You had a nice, long cross country trip to get to know your new ride - that's great!
You are correct - Never Too Late.
