Hello every body I'm crash i'm fairly new to the Corvette scene so bare with me as I get a feel for this site. I recently purchased my first corvette in April of 2017. To be honest I never really in a million years thought that I would become an owner of such a beautiful machine. I don't knw to much about the car just the basics like make, model and year. I don't know to much of its history either just what was told to me by the person I bought it from and my own examination once I had it in my possession. It is a 1991 canary yellow 2 door convertible it has a 350 cu in (5.7 L) L98 V8 engine it's an automatic with a 4 speed transmission. From what I was told from the person I bought it from its a limited edition apparently only 260 were made don't quote me on that number I could be wrong. It runs great but it does have its minor issues which i'm hoping I can get help with here. I want to learn as much as possible about the car like the best ways to keep it running in tip top shape, issues to expect in the future and how to prevent them or fix them anyways hope to hear from u enthusiasts soon.
Welcome from just north of you Locust Grove. You should have a sticker in the inside of the center glove box that lists all the RPO code and what came on it when ordered.
Welcome to the forum, crash (although hopefully that doesn't happen to your Corvette! ).
Congratulations on your C4. I'm not sure of the specific limited edition the seller may have been referring to. For color of the car, out of over 20,000 1991 Corvettes, only 650 were painted yellow. This was the second lowest color for that year; Charcoal Metallic was painted on 417 '91 Corvettes. So, overall, yours is somewhat unique for the paint color.
But, most importantly, you have a very nice looking C4 Corvette with only minor issues it sounds like.
You'll find lots of great members in the C4 section of the forum at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-1984-1996-19/.
Enjoy your ride and save the wave!

personally I think he was saying that jus to seal the deal but he didn't have to do all that as I already had my mind made up about purchasing the car from the moment I saw it
Thank you all for the warm welcome I really appreciate the housepitality. I was wondering would it be a good idea to join a car club? What would be the pros and cons of joining one ur feed back would be much appreciated n taken in to consideration.
Nice C4 vert. Perhaps the previous owner may have meant the number of convertibles in that color for that year. Without a doubt, that is a nice looking car. I hope to add a nice C4 vert to my C7 some day. Congrats. Here is a link to some info about the 1991 C4. http://www.vettefacts.com/C4/1991.aspx
