My first Vette
I will be picking up my 2019 Corvette Stingray on Thursday. I bought the basic 1LT in torch red with black interior. 7 speed manual was a must because I'm old school and that's how all sports cars came back in my day. I traded in my Cadillac SRX with all the goodies I never needed and decided I wouldn't need them in my Vette.
This is sort of my retirement present from my wife. I have never owned a sports car but have always wanted one. My wife has been telling me for years that she was going to buy me one and now that I just retired she insisted I get one.
I'm hoping to find this forum very helpful as I'm sure I will have many questions.

Nice job going with a manual! I would consider something to protect the paint, XPEL, ceramic coating, even a good coat of wax.

Well the deal fell through on my Vette so instead of picking it up yesterday I ended up ordering one instead. Now the wait begins.
