Potential Vette Owner
Hello All,
Am really interested in owning a Z06. I really want a C6 Z06 but may have to settle for a C5 Z06 for financial reasons. What are the best places to search for a Z06 besides here and craigslist? I definitely want the 405hp version. So it has to be a 02-up? It may be a slow progress before I obtain one but its a start. Anything to stay away from these C5's?

Welcome to the forum!
Here are links to the C5 and C6 sections of the forum: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1997-2004-2/ and https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-2005-2013-14/.
I would especially encourage you to read the Sticky Notes at the tops of several of the sub sections to learn more about the cars. This should help make you more knowledgeable when it comes time to buy.
Best wishes with your search!

Some of my favorite web sites have been cars (.com), carfax, autotrader, cargurus, kelly blue book (kbb), plus your local Chevy dealers for as far as you're willing to travel. Good luck! Searching and figuring out what you want are half the fun.

All of the above places should get you a lot of options for either a C5 or C6 Z06. You could also check the big auction site.
good luck and I hope to find the perfect car for you. Plus, welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum!! As far as C5's, read the stickies about the BCM's on the early models. Newer is better.
Plenty of help in the C5 section.
Good Luck!

Hey, cool, another S2000 owner!!! I just got a C6Z this spring (found mine on Autotrader), and sold my S2000 to my son. Drove both back and forth, and while different experiences I think both are cool and have different strengths. The S2000 is quick, the Z is faaaaast. I respect them both.as serious sports cars.
