Old guy buys first Corvette
Greetings everyone. I always liked Corvettes but looked at them with envy thinking I would never be able to afford one. I came across by accident an ad for a 04 C5 with 35000 miles that looked like brand new. I went 80 miles away and looked at this car and had to have it. It truly is a work of art and I spend a lot of time just looking at it. I don't like all model vettes but I did like the C5 models. I love this car except for the noise. I wear noise canceling earphones to solve that problem. I did a lot of reading on this forum before signing up and want to thank all for the info I have gotten. I paid 19K for this car and in my opinion that is a heck of good value for a 14 year old car that is like brand new. I am 74 years old with no known health issues and go to the gym 5 days a week so I think I will be able to drive this car for a few years anyway. Real glad I have it.
