New to Corvette Tribe
Bought 1991 coupe two weeks ago now. Used to have a 1988 5.0 Mustang LX Hatchback with 5 speed manual that I bought new and drove as a "fun" car until a few years ago when it was totaled when someone plowed into the back of it while parked in the street outside my house.
I got the itch for another 'fun' car and found that C4's in nice condition could be bought for a reasonable price. Found the 1991 after a few months of searching. It had nice paint with only a blemish on the left front fender. Interior was still in nice shape for having 105,000 on it. The tach doesn't work but since it's an auto doesn't bother me. Only things I have done so far is bought new mats. put new hatch struts on and new tires.
I live in Southern New Jersey and have really enjoyed my purchase. My daily driver is a 2014 Crew Cab Ram 1500 with a 5.7 Hemi. While my truck is quick when you consider the weight, the Corvette is whole different quick.
