Hi everyone, new member here in Birmingham AL with a C7. 2014 2LT, Z51, M7, Laguna Blue, with some aftermarket goodies. Got it from another member of the forum. So far it's been a blast but I've noticed some issues with various electrical components like the passenger headlight (burned out already), touchscreen (flickers sometimes), driver seat (easy exit causes problems), and instrument panel (turned off the other day 30 seconds after start then came back). It's a fun car but the numerous issues has me worried. My last V8 car was a 2005 GTO which never had a single issue so I do enjoy LS/LT engines. Hopefully a little work will get it in perfect condition. Here it is though along with my daily.

Welcome to the forum. The members in the C7 sections may have some good advice concerning the issues you have noticed - you may want to make a thread over there and see what response you get.

How many miles? Assume the previous owner didn't mention any electrical issues; does Carfax report any history of electrical service?
If persists, might want to post in the General or Tech areas for some trouble shooting tips.
Happy to be the crazy guy with a fleet of blue cars. Though gray was also being looked at for a more stealth approach. 30k miles now, 27k when I bought it but I drove it from Texas to Alabama. Previous owner said he didn't know how to set the seats memory and didn't care to (which is fair). Also said the new key fob needed a battery but it had one in it already so now I'm skeptical. No other issues mentioned. I want Apple Carplay so I'm gonna upgrade the module and hope that fixes some issues as well. Carfax was clean but buying used is a roll of the dice. I've been able to get amazing cars and terrible ones. Not that new is perfect either since warranties are only as good as the backer and Toyota taught me to never trust the manufacturer or reputation of a vehicle. Luckily forums exist and I'm not 100% incompetent.

Thank you! For now I'm using the search function and seeing what issues already have fixes worked out on here. No need to make a new post for something already figured out. For the headlights I just ordered some 6000k bulbs and the dealer is going to do the work for me. Still trying out stuff for the other issues. I'm confident there's plenty of knowledge here though if I can't find an answer though.
