Hey everyone, "new" member here. Been lurking for a long time, finally made an account back in July when I picked up my 1988 C4. So far been busy getting the car up to good mechanical condition, purchased with 107k miles has almost 112k on it now. I really enjoy this car and plan to road trip it everywhere this up coming year like I did this past fall.
Thanks for the welcome everyone. I use my C4 for a spring-fall daily driver rain or shine and enjoy it. I am thinking here in a year or 2 I should probably add a C6 to the stable as well. I love cars, last few years I have been slacking on the fun cars, used to have a fleet of nothing but...I'll get there again though!
Nice looking C4. I think I may have looked at it when it was for sale before you bought it. If its the same one, it was pretty well sorted with no significant problems and the wheels really looked great on it. Just needed a little TLC here and there. Seems like you got a good one and I think its one of those that will be a real head turner as time goes on.

Its possible. It was in Ankeny. Not a show car but a good driver. Replaced U-joints (previous owner said they were done, but apparently forgot the grease the front one on the driveshaft), fuel filter was installed backwards (fixed that), had the original o2 sensor that I replaced and now it runs great. Next is front brake calipers, lines, pads and rotors. Removed the AIR pump (it was making a knocking sound) and removed the "Frisbee" on the water pump which took care of the squealing noise it would make when rapiding changing RPMs. Also fixed the flaky Hvac display and turn signal issues. Everything I have done to the car so far has been very easy, just takes a little time.
