Hello all! I'm a first time Vette owner and new member here. I'm 34 years old and live in Highlands county FL. I just got an awesome deal on a friends 17 stingray 2LT Z51 with MRC. It's a 7 speed manual in Arctic white with adrenaline red/black interior. He upgraded to a new Z06 and let me have this one well below market price. I still have to keep going out to the garage to make sure it's really there!
Many people dream of Ferraris and lambos but not me. As a kid I grew up pretty poor but always fantasized of owning a Corvette. I've worked really hard to get here and i just can't believe it's finally happened. I look forward to learning all about these beautiful master pieces here with you guys.

Thank you for the welcome guys! I'll grab a couple interior shots. That's almost my favorite part too. I can't believe how comfortable it is inside.

Crazy little story that happened this week. I called my local Chevy dealer that I always do business with to check the price of the clear protectores that go behind the doors on the bottom rockers. Mine have a slight tint of yellowing and it bothers me on the white car. The guy asked why I wanted to replace them and I explained. He said just bring it in when you have a chance at let me look at what you're talking about. I didn't think anything of it and went in a couple days later. The service manager came out to look at it and informed me that the bumper to bumper warranty would cover it and to leave it there while they ordered the pieces and had the body shop install them. Again, very cool of them but I didn't think much of it after I left the dealer.
The next day at work I get a call from the service manager. He tells me he was not satisfied with the way my seats were aging for the year and mileage of the car and that he has ordered two brand new ones from Michigan to install in the car. I was blown away and kinda speechless. I really wish i would've taken pictures before. They were in excellent shape to me. Very minor wrinkling in the leather on the driver's side bolster and nothing visible on the passenger. Not sure what the hell just happened but I'm getting brand new seats!

Wow, thats great. One thing to consider, is the factory protection film you're referring to does have a slight yellow tint to it. I'd expect you'll see the same after the replace it. I had mine removed and replaced with Suntek Ultra when I had my front end covered. Its clear and you can't tell its there.

Well that's not good. Especially on a white car. I might look into different options as you did once i get it back next week. Thank you
