Hello from LA (via Ireland)
I am new to the US, originally from Ireland. I am looking at this opportunity to finally get a chance to own a C3 Corvette.
Just starting my research, hoping to find a targa or a convertible and join the local Corvette clubs. Any help greatly appreciated, I am struggling with valuations. I follow the basics on what to look for but I still see very similar cars that vary wildly in price. I am happy to spend a little more if necessary, just want a great car that I can enjoy in the Californian sun :-) Nice to meet everyone

Welcome to the forum and best of luck in your search for a C3. You should check out the various C3 sections of the forum for more information on that generation of Corvette.

Thanks all, watched the video about buying a c3, that was really helpful.
I've noticed some people saying they prefer C3s with LT1 or LS5 engines. Just wondering why that might be?
Thanks
