Hello All
I've made a few posts but have not introduced myself because I was not in possession of the car. Well I am now A buddy trailered it up from Pa. for me. I traded a complete, (but not fully assembled), 1949 Diamond T pick-up truck. He is currently trailing the truck back to Pa. to the fella I swapped with.
I come from the Porsche world. I know mortal enemies lol.
Anyway here is a pic of 'Miss Piggy'. I named her that is she's a bit dirty and in need of some TLC. I like customizing so she will look a bit different in the coming months. First step will be going through everything mechanical then a paint job. It is he original paint as the 'unleaded fuel only' sticker is still in the deck lid.
I've also included two pics of the Porsche to show my tastes in customizations. Under the hood I swapped the stock 3.2L for a 3.6 & turbo brakes all around. I tracked the car at Watkins Glen and here at Lime Rock. Lot's of fun for sure.
Thanks in advance for the help I've already received and all future help.
Let the games begin!
Miss Piggy
Actually when I bought the Porsche it didn't even have the tail and I also polished the wheels.
She was great at the track.

Good looking C3 you bought and good luck with your planned mods to the car. I like the Porsche also.

Thank you guys. Jstan, I no longer have the Porsche sadly. But I wouldn't have the Corvette if I did. I had made it into to much of a track car and it really wasn't any fun driving it on the street so I sold her a few years ago.
But the Corvette journey is going to be fun, (I hope!)

Thank you very much.
I took the car for, in my case a PTI, (post trade inspection), Saturday morning. The frame is perfect, sans surface rust, but straight as an arrow. Bird cage good. It does need basically a complete suspension rebuild as everything is original and 40 years old. Even the leaf spring is shot, probably due to as much from the short bolts put in as with age. It is almost straight. The drive train is fine.
So have all that done then go from there.
