C5Z 'restoration' here
Hi all,
I picked up a non running 2002 C5Z last month, it's been a bit of a nightmare but it's fully running now and I'm just tying up the loose ends.
Picked up the car non running, crank but no start. Got is started with new Crank Sensor and new pigtail. Ran poorly and checked compression with 0psi on 2 cylinders. Pulled the heads and the valves were bent with moderate damage to piston. Got the heads rebuilt and cleaned up the pistons.
It runs strong now and im sorting all the other issues. Blown shocks, bad maf, hvac controller is dead. I'm about 80% done...
