Hello, I'm a long time (44 yrs) owner of a 66, Nassau Blue, L79, roadster. Paid 3k back in 74, people said 3k for an 8yr old car, you're nuts. They were wrong! Numbers matching w/original spare and 53k miles, rarely driven. About 20 yrs ago I acquired a 74, LS6, coupe. Still needs work to be road worthy.

Welcome to the forum. You may have been considered nuts then, but I’ll bet those people now wish they would have been the ones that paid $3K for the car.
I have a hardtop for this 66 Corvette convertible, Nassau Blue (#976) exterior with Bright Blue (#414) interior. The hardtop was off another car with saddle interior headliner and trim mldg. The outside of this hardtop has been painted the correct #976 color. I've already bought the correct color hardtop headliner. My question is....are the hardtop inner moldings painted with (gloss) body color or a special interior color? I've been told "interior paint, satin finish"?? The saddle mldgs on it now are gloss. Then I was told "Bright Blue Metallic interior paint". Parts inside my car are interior Bright Blue satin....radio side panels, speaker grill, 1/4 trim above seat belts, etc. That satin paint surely doesn't look like it should go on the H/L trim moldings. Is there an interior trim paint that is gloss?
