Intro
Hello to all, thanks for the add. My name is James and I just pulled the trigger on a purchase of an 82 SE, she is in ok condition, one of those you can drive and wrench. I know nothing about a vette except specs from reading past articles through the years. My best friend past away and we tore down and built F-body GM's and I need to walk away from those for now and jumped on this one at a price I couldn't pass up without driving 2 days a trailering one home. She has 2 sets of aftermarket wheels and tires, original not available, the engine is a baby blue color, no paperwork on the engine swap, numbers do not match period correct vin. Interior is new, dash with 2 cracks, glass is good, someone put window tint over the rear window defrost. I did not see any gas shocks on rear window, they did put side pipes on the car which my wife can't handle the noise....lol... anyway glad for the add, I am hoping to pick a few brains when I run into trouble after I tear down this car......
