I am new to the forum as I recently rescued a 63 coupe from being in a barn for 30 years and undergoing a complete restoration. It’s great to have such a wealth of information on here.
I’ve had the car for 6 weeks and dove into it, engine is out being built, tranny just returned from being gone through, diff. Is out being gone through, body has been removed from frame and frame has been disassembled and I delivered it and all suspension parts for media blasting and powder coating. I realize powder coating isn’t proper for judging but it is more durable than paint. Hope to have the rolling frame and power train reassembled by the end of May so I can get to work on the body. Not sure about keeping the six brake lights as whoever added the pair did it perfectly-looks like it was that way from factory.
