Hello to everyone, my name is Kurt and I'm from the Des Moines, Iowa area. New to the forum and happy to be here!
Got my first Vette last April, a 1996 LT1 car, after being a huge C4 fan since growing up in the 80s as a kid.
It was a good experience with the C4, but I think it proved to me more than anything what I really wanted to have for my next Vette (a manual transmission foremost).
Eventually I managed to get myself into a 99 Fixed Roof car, a body style I've lusted after since playing Gran Turismo and Forza and racking up thousands of virtual race miles on C5 Z06s. I'm really enjoying this car immensely and looking forward to refining ;-) it a bit further and enjoying the experience!
I've got some leftover parts that never made it onto my C4 that I've been hanging on to for too long and those will eventually make there way into the C4 Sale section over the weekend!
Looking forward to activity level of this forum, most of my old ones have died off and migrated onto social media to get lost in the shuffle........ So I'm excited to take part in this forum and join the community!
If the weather cooperates I should be at the Karl Kustoms Summer Night's this Wednesday. I work at the dealership, so it's about time I stopped being a hermit haha.

Just curious if you will be doing the "refining" or if you know a place in DSM? I am from Marshalltown but have not had much luck finding decent priced install guys..
I'm going to do most of the part replacing myself. Dyno tuning I'm thinking about WS6 Store out of Carlisle... but I'm still torn in this area. The car is now heads/cam/intake/long tubes and needing tuning work for sure, I've hit my wall in that dept.
