I played with Matchbox cars and Hot wheels back in the '60's . I still remember a little Corvette and and a XKE Jaguar I ordered from a cereal box . Never thought I could afford one . In 97 when the C5 came out I loved the new design and thought maybe I will get one some day , It kind of sparked my interest again . But 40 50 grand was still out of reach . I have BMW Z3 a few years ago ,but wanted more power . I looked at Nissan 350z's and just about bought one . Then I decided to throw in some more money and bought a 2002 C5 coupe with 43000 miles . I figured the low mileage would give me good condition . I bought it and drove it from Charleston back to North Carolina with a friend following in my blazer . I got 30.2 mpg for the trip . Guess this is my dream car .
